Saturday's weekend review!

Welcome to the weekend review! Just taking a moment to look back at the week for Humble Homemaking, and taking the chance to share some great projects from other bloggers this week.

If you missed anything, these were the Humble Homemaking Highlights for the week:

This was my first week in the blogging world and I have had such an awesome time. I feel so uplifted from all the positive comments and support I have recieved and it has left me smiling every day. I was featured at She Wears Flowers and recieved the Versatile Blogger Award from Military Spouse House. I am grateful for everyone who has helped make the start of this adventure so much fun.

Now on to some fantastic projects that are out there in 'blogland'.

If you were featured then please grab your 'featured' button at the bottom of the page!

This hilarious valentines gift idea comes from Nap Time Journal. I think is is a great idea, plus cheap and easy to make. I may have found my V-Day gift for my hubby. :-)

This delicious strawberry and peach sorbet is found over at The Trendy Treehouse. I especially love it because it contains only simple ingredients which I can buy over here in Germany. So often I see something yummy to make but it uses ingredients which you can't buy here. This sorbet smoothie however is perfect for me! I can't wait to try it.

Bubbly Nature Creations posted the tutorial on making Ice Cream Truffles. They look fabulous! I really really want to give these little hearts of yummy goodness a go. YUM! The tutorial is brilliant so check it out.

Homemade By Jill offered this valentines gift bag idea. It is totally in keeping with the Humble Homemaking philosophy. Cheap and easy! I love it.

I found these fantastic ideas for valentines gifts over at Blue Cricket Designs. I should mention that this was actually a guest post from Becca(blue cricket)'s  sister, but I couldn't find a link to the sister so go check out the guest post at Blue Cricket Designs and leave a fun comment. :-)

Living Craftily Ever After presented these gorgeous Smore Brownies. I can't get Graham Crackers in Germany but I don't care! I will have to find a substitute because I must try these! Yum, Yum, Yum.

Finally... I must really have food on the brain because these truffles made in the microwave (yes, you heard right!) from Sugar Bee are just dying to be made and tested. Another great gift idea.

So there you have it! My review of the best and finest from this week. Go and check out some of these awesome ladies and leave some comments! I hope you all have great weekends! Happy Homemaking.
