So I am totally excited to follow the rules and share some facts about myself with you as well as getting the chance to pass the Award on to some other awesome bloggers.

 

7 facts about myself:

 

1. I am descended from Pirates! Yep, really. My mum loves Family History and found the connection.... but you would have to ask her for the details. lol.

 

2. I have travelled alot. I am from the UK, lived for a while in the States (Utah), now live in Germany and have seen many other wonderful places. I am truly blessed.

 

3. I am horribly addicted to a shop called Buttinette here in Germany. It is a big crafting chain and the cause of much despair for my Husband I am sure.... lol.

 

4. I am the youngest of 5 kids, with a 7 year gap between me and the next eldest. I used to follow my siblings around and try to be like them and thought everyone was supposed to be 'big'. My first week of school I told my teacher I wanted to go home because I was tired of all the 'little' people. lol.

 

5. My husband served his mission in England and we met through a mutual friend who was having the discussions at the time. We forgot all about each other until over 2 years later when I moved to Germany and attended a big convention. This cute blonde guy came over and remembered me.... and embarressingly I couldn't remember him! lol. Luckily it came back to me in the end and I found the love of my life. (Good job his memory is better than mine!)

 

6. As a child I was on the radio for a sunday morning program talking about giving presents to animals... and I was on the TV news for a hospital report. I thought I would maybe be famous... but I am still waiting for my oscar award. hmmm....

 

7. I love Bon Jovi. I have been trying to attend one of his concerts ever since I was about 13. It seems the universe is fighting against Bon Jovi and I ever meeting. Most recently my Husband (then boyfriend) had tickets but I had to go to Paris for work... and this year he is returning to Germany but on one day only... a day I am not able to go. I will hear them sing one day... maybe.
