The Weekend Review #3

Welcome to this weeks Weekend Review! I am so excited to play host and have you here!

Today is a special day as it marks my 1 month anniversary in blog-land... and it also marks my gaining over 100 followers!

I am so excited about how great this adventure has been so far. I have had so much fun on Humble Homemaking this last month and I owe it all to YOU! Without you guys following and commenting and keeping me smiling every day, it wouldn't be so much fun. So thank you to all of you have supported me on this first step in my blogging adventure. I appreciate it you so much!

If you missed anything on Humble Homemaking this week then here were the highlights:

Be sure to check them out if you missed them! :-)

Feature Time!

Last weeks linky party was awesome. A huge thanks to everyone who submitted to the party.

My rule is to only pick out my top 5 favourite links to feature but it is so hard as there were so many great ideas.

Check out last weeks party to see the other great projects which were linked up.

NOTE: I feature my top 5 recipes from the party on Yummy Thursday... so for the best recipes from last week go check out Yummy Thursdays Features now!

So here are the top 5 projects....

Suddenly I See linked up this Create-a-Cloche project. It made me green with envy because I really want one!!! Ahhh.... just looking at it makes me happy. A great project and tutorial... plus a really thrifty idea which is what humble homemaking it all about. Check it out!

Frugal ideas from the Parsonage presented this beautiful quilt. I am new to quilting so it just impressed me so much... plus the colours shout Spring to me and as you all know from other posts... I am craving the spring!! Hop on over and look at it. Take time to admire the pretty quilting on the back too!

I adore these Mr & Mrs. pillows which were submitted from The Madsen's. They are stylish and beautiful... and so romantic! I would love a set of these *hint hint* for my bed. Very cool indeed.

I was really impressed by the thrifty ideas which you guys came up with last week and this project was cheap and fantastic! I love this Stripey Rug from Modblog. It is a simple but effective idea and can be done to spice up any cheap rug. I have been wanting a rug for my hallway for ages and I think this might be just the project to use for it...!

Finally we have these White Vases from Nifty Thrifty Things. This was truly one of those 'DUH' moments for me where I slapped my forehead and went 'oh my goodness, why didn't I think of that!!'. I am in love with this idea. So simple, cheap and yet so stylish and cool. A great project and tutorial.
